Acurast and FLock.io Partner to Launch AI-Powered Staking Strategy PoC

Together, the two projects have developed a Proof of Concept (PoC) that combines artificial intelligence with real-time validator data to optimize staking strategies for FLOCK token holders.

The collaboration introduces the AI Arena Strategy, a lightweight yet powerful staking assistant. The tool empowers users to manage their FLOCK delegations by claiming rewards at optimal intervals and automatically re-staking based on validator performance and user-defined preferences. At its core, the assistant uses LLM-based function calling, hosted on the Acurast decentralized compute layer, to analyze delegation pools, track staking yields, and suggest the best available strategies in real time.

About the AI Arena Strategy PoC

In this PoC (available on GitHub), we built an LLM-driven agent that autonomously manages the delegation of FLOCK tokens in delegation pools on Base Mainnet by leveraging Acurast’s secure compute layer. Once deployed on Acurast, the agent uses FLock data to autonomously manage FLOCK token delegations on behalf of the user. It aims to maximize staking yields while reducing manual intervention.

Proof of Concept Highlights

  • Parallel Pool Tracking: Continuously watches multiple FLOCK token delegation pools, gathering up-to-date performance metrics across validators.
  • LLM-Based Recommendations: Sends validator and pool data to an LLM, then parses its JSON outputs into concrete stake/unstake/rebalance actions.
  • Automated Reward Monitoring: Detects when staking rewards become available and determines the optimal moments to claim them.
  • Preference-Aware Logic: Honors user preferences — such as risk tolerance or specific validator choices — when generating its suggested actions.
  • Autonomous Onchain execution: No external wallet UI is needed — the agent running on Acurast has everything it needs to sign, submit, and monitor stake/unstake transactions. The private key never leaves the Acurast-managed environment.
  • Adaptive Strategy: Repeats its Monitor → Analyze → Suggest → Act cycle on each schedule, continually recalibrating to changing network conditions to maximize yields.

This PoC highlights FLock’s strength in leveraging AI-driven analytics and Acurast’s ability to securely deploy autonomous on-chain agents that manage complex DeFi operations without manual intervention. By abstracting away infrastructure and key management the PoC demonstrates how FLock and Acurast can be combined to let teams focus on strategy rather than boilerplate setup.
