One of the most exciting aspects for us is our involvement in DePIN conversations, which have been at the forefront of the Blockchain space in 2024. Fortunately for us at Acurast, we were early adopters as we began building the DePIN Narrative using mobile devices back in 2022.

This blog post will provide details on what we have in store at ETHDenver and where you can engage with our team to learn more about our projects.

Don’t Miss the Build on Bitcoin Hackerhouse at ETHDENVER2024!

Andreas Gassmann, Developer Experience at Acurast, will be hosting a workshop titled ‘Limitless Compute: Access to a Decentralized Cloud’ at Build on Bitcoin Hackerhouse on the 26th of February.

There is also a bounty from our side:

Bounty name: Ordinals Aggregated Oracle

Bounty information: Acurast is a decentralized serverless cloud where everyone can become part of the decentralized Cloud with their mobile phone. Giving developers complete permissionless access to trustless, affordable, and confidential computing.

With Acurast’s Data Feed and On-Demand features, one or more Acurast Processors (mobile phone) can be trustlessly instructed to run apps, e.g., an oracle fetching a price confidentially.

Create an aggregated Ordinals oracle over at least 3 publicly available Ordinals indexers:

  • Javascript code runs on Acurast’s cloud
  • Requesting data of a specific ordinal/brc-20 from 3 indexers
  • Using either interval or on-demand
  • Only accept replies from the verified process, introduce logic to not include responses if they deviate, e.g., median
  • Deploy smart contract on BoB, receiving the script output on BoB
  • Use the result in, e.g., a marketplace or in any other application

Alternatively, leverage Acurast in any other application deployed on BoB, e.g., as an oracle for DeFi, as a confidential off-chain game engine, etc.
