The DePIN Surge Continues: Acurast Launches on CoinList Following peaq’s Record-Breaking Sale
Zug, Switzerland — May 20, 2025 — Acurast, the largest decentralized compute network powered by smartphones, is live with its highly anticipated community token sale on CoinList. The sale offers 60 million ACU tokens — representing 6% of the total supply — at a price of $0.09 per token, with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $90 million. The tokens will be 100% unlocked at the Token Generation Event (TGE), providing immediate utility to participants.
Participants can purchase tokens using USDT or USDC on Ethereum. Each participant is required to register and complete KYC. The minimum purchase is $100, and the maximum allocation per user is $2.000,000.00— ensuring a fair distribution among community members and preventing whale accumulation. Notably, there is no “whale category” in this sale. The offering is not available to residents of the United States, China, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions as outlined in CoinList’s terms and conditions.
Compute for AI, Web3, and Beyond
This launch marks a major milestone in Acurast’s mission to decentralize cloud computing and reshape infrastructure for secure, confidential, and scalable workloads across AI, Web3, and beyond.
Over the past year, Acurast has demonstrated remarkable growth. The network has surpassed 68,000 smartphone-based compute units, executed over 250 million testnet transactions, and powered more than 10,500 compute deployments. This infrastructure enables confidential compute for sensitive tasks — such as on-chain automation and verifiable AI workloads — to be processed securely and confidentially across a global decentralized network. Among these capabilities, confidential AI stands out as a game-changer, offering enterprises a way to harness artificial intelligence with full data privacy.
peaq x Acurast: Building the Future of DePIN
Today’s launch follows Acurast’s deepening collaboration with peaq, the layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for DePIN and the Machine Economy. While the partnership was initially announced in 2024, the teams are now working toward completing a technical integration that will allow Acurast-powered compute jobs to be monetized and orchestrated on the peaq network. Once complete, Acurast will bring confidential compute to peaq-based DePINs, enabling DePINs and machines to tap into a real decentralized compute network, suitable for a broad range of use cases — including executing trustless AI workloads.
This moment also echoes the success of peaq’s own community sale on CoinList exactly one year ago. In May 2024, peaq raised $19.98 million in what became CoinList’s largest token launch in over two years. Since then, peaq has grown to support over 52 DePINs and more than 6,000,000 machines — an exponential expansion that validates the viability of the Machine Economy and the power of robust decentralized infrastructure.
